  3. Translation of reply to Ibn Zaid (Head of Al Haq Party, San'aa, Yemen):
Greetings to you, thanking you, and thanks to Allah for your safety. I think the Al Haq party is the best in Yemen!

  5. brother abdullah :
our call is 2 follow quraan ,applying it and the true sunnah which Harmonize with the mind and quraan ... bcz we believe that sunnah between the muslims hands ( sunni and 12ers shiaa) contain many lied reported that prophet did not say ... the prove of that lied reported is the schisms we see between muslims which would not be happened if we followed the true sunna the prophet said ...

  6. you need to remember just like the Quran was memorized and written down to be passed on generation to generation by the great Scholars of the past, so too were there Great Scholars of Hadeeth who spent all their lives compiling, scrutinizing and preserving the Sunnah of the Prophet (saas)

“And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad صلىالله عليه وسلم) the Dhikr [reminder and the advice (i.e. the Qur’aan)], that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought”
    [al-Nahl 16:44].

the Prophets explanation here refers to his sunnah

“Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr and surely, We will guard it (from corruption)”

    [al-Hijr 15:9]

without the Prophets sunnah we would be like those who went before.

Indeed Allâh conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Qur'ân), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur'ân) and Al Hikmah [the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW (i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship, etc.)], while before that they had been in manifest error. (Aali Imran 3:164)

but what we need to be careful of is rejecting without proper bases. as long as we stick with accepted and verifiable sources inshallah we have done our duty.

we are not like those who reject the Sunnah outright

“Verily I have been given the Qur’aan and something similar to it along with it. But soon there will be a time when a man will be reclining on his couch with a full stomach, and he will say, ‘You should adhere to this Qur’aan: what you find that it says is permissible, take it as permissible, and what you find it says is forbidden, take it as forbidden.’ But indeed, whatever the Messenger of Allaah forbids is like what Allaah forbids.”

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2664). He said: It is hasan ghareeb with this isnaad. It was classed as hasan by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (2870).

"...And whatsoever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it) , and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is severe in punishment." [Qur'ân 59:7]

  7. The "great scholars of Hadeeth" you are talking about (Bukhari and Muslim) collected only a small number of ahadith from the decendants of the Prophet. This was because of the political climate of their time. The Zaidi hadith collections are superior because they are transmitted through the descendants of the Prophet through Fatimah and Ali. Zaidi books have a good balance of ahadith from Prophet's family and his companions. See them in English at www.zaydiyyah.wordpress.com.au

  8. There seems to be a common thread in these postings that Zaida has a problem with 'stoning' and 'becoming a second wife'. Well, perhaps she should be informed that 'Ali used to lash and then stone the adulterer and the Prophet married more than one wife. And since when have the Muslims (Zaidiyyah) been classed as Mu'taziliyyah? Their 'aqidah has intrinsic differences to them and possesses an 'aqidah that is unique. If there are certain things that are established in Islam, we should accept Islam for what it is and not express our dissatisfation with those things based on our own whims... If not, everybody will end up having their own madh'hab!
