Name: ...Imam al-Hadi Yahya bin hussain ila al-Haqq<br /><br />Name: Imam al-Hadi ila al-Haqq<br /><br />Linage:<br />Imam Al Hadi Yahya is the son of al-Hussein son of Qasim son of Ibrahim son of Ismail son of Ibrahim son of Hassan son of Hassan son of Ali son of Abi Talib. He is also known as Imam al-Hadi ila al-Haqq. (Peace be upon them all!)<br />His mother is Umm Hassan daughter of al-Hassan son of Muhammad son of Suleiman son of Dawud son of Hassan son of Hassan son of Ali bin Abi Talib. (Peace be upon them all!)<br /><br />Imam Al Hadi ila al Haqq was born in Madinah in the year 245 A.H, and was named "Yahya" by his grandfather, Imam ar-Rassi Qasim bin Ibrahim.<br /><br />He was known for his bravery, courage, astute knowledge, and nobility. Also he was was also an ascetic and a pious person.<br /><br />There are also some miracles that are ascribed to him.<br /><br />Imam Al Hadi's emerge to Yemen.<br /><br />In the year 622 Hz Khalid bin Walid (ra) went to Yemen to spread Islam. When he reached Yemen, he came across two renown tribes in the nation known as the Najrani and Tihami. These tribes did not take the invitation of Khalid bin Waleed and therefore they refused to accepted Islam. Hz Khalid bin Waleed (ra) returned to the Prophet (sawas) and told him the news. Therefore, the Holy Prophet (sawas) then sent Imam Ali AS.gif to Yemen, and with Imam Ali's AS.gif presence and invitations the two tribes tribes were impressed and accepted Islam.<br /><br />During the time of Imam Ali's AS.gif calipate the people of Yemen stayed loyal to Imam Ali AS.gif and his sons Imam Hassan AS.gif and Imam Hussain AS.gif . However, after this era the tribes of Yemen did not show much oppositions against the Ummavi rulers. Then after a few centuries the Yemenis decided to invite one of the Aalids to rule over them. Imam Hadi AS.gif took this invitation, accepted it, and arrived in Yemen. He then settled in Yemen, and established an imamate rule. The Immamate rule had succession of Syeds and lasted in the country up until the mid 20th century.<br /><br />Similar to his grandfather Imam Rassi, Imam Al Hadi was a very prolific writer who wrote works on theology (kalaam), fiqh, tafsir, language, history, dua, and poetry.
